Self-watering:

Once the garden is established, it can be left for up to three weeks without watering thanks to the ingenious reservoir at the bottom and wicking bed technology. Where residents may need to leave their home for an extended period of time, or fall ill and be unable to maintain their garden, they can be assured the garden will continue to flourish.

Durable Design:

Vegepod’s are made from certifiably food-safe materials guaranteed for ten years, ensuring client health and product longevity (unlike other raised beds such as corrugated iron and treated timbers). The durability of the product also ensures the garden beds won’t need to be replaced, ensuring program longevity too.

Fully Contained:

Vegepod’s fully contained design ensures no undirected flow of soil or water can affect/ damage surrounding buildings or shared areas. No harmful ground contaminates can leach into the Vegepod soil and conversely the nutrients within the Vegepod won’t be lost to competing ground covers, plants or trees.

Accessible Height:

Vegepod stands enable gardeners to stand or lean comfortably to garden. It is also the perfect height for those needing to sit to garden and accessible for those in a wheelchair.

Moveable:

Both the small and medium Vegepod’s can be placed on sturdy casters allowing them to be moved around verandahs, courtyards or gardens as needed, ensuring residents can still make the most of any small spaces.

Transferrable:

Vegepod’s can be easily dismantled and re-established in different locations, ensuring residents or their families can take their Vegepod to new homes or locations at any time.

Canopy:

The possum and rodent proof commercial grade mesh canopy makes organic gardening easy, enabling plants to thrive without the need for pesticides whilst protecting them from inclement weather and harsh elements and providing a perfect micro-climate for better growth rates.
